I think I started to notice it with the Glenn Beck show. The guy did four hours of radio every day plus his tv show (with rehearsals I would guess that took up 2-4 hours worth of work). He’s get up on tv with a dog eared book he would claim he was reading and researching. With TV, radio he already had a full day. When did he find time to read books, write books, research his show and raise a family? It’s all obvious bullshit and he didn’t invent the gimmick either. Nor are the other people doing it copying him, it’s just a trend in TV. .
