Pretty much. They’d spent six years whining about AMERICA HELD HOSTAGE (El Rushbo’s tagline during the Clinton years) and spent millions on a special prosecutor to find something — anything — to impeach Clinton for.

The irony is that as soon as he got impeached, Clinton’s poll numbers went UP, not down. Hell, Bubba could have run in 2012 and won 300 electoral votes against Mittens without breaking a sweat.
