That’s what I thought about W.

The problem is that we though the economy would overcome people’s fears of an elected black man. That’s not going to stop me from voting for the best candidate no matter who they are, but lots more people need to do more than go “OK, the economy’s good, so I’ll either protest vote or stay home.”
