So would you still recommend State of Fear, because I found it very compelling, and a pretty good yarn (although not his greatest like you said). Was Crichton a denier? Was his research crappy? I ask not to be snarky, but because I’m truly curious how you squared these two when I noticed that Crichton sited the hell out of that book.

It’s a novel, like “The Da Vinci Code.”
