You can set a lot of money aside when you a)have a non-minimum wage job b) don’t have dependents c)don’t invest in the latest and greatest tech and d)avoid recreational spending like the movies/starbucks/alcohol. You can also get a lot more bang for your buck when traveling when you a)sleep on someones floor rather than a mote b)know about the trip a year in advance and c)only bring 1 change of clothes.

Sufficient dedication can get you far.

Minimum wages only pays for rent, utilities, food, clothes, etc.

Someone else would have to be paying for your day-to-day expenses for you to save enough to fly to another country.
