This cannot be said enough. Ron Paul does not object to discrimination and restrictions on individual rights if states do it or if businesses do it or if individuals to, he only objects to the federal government doing it. He’s a neo-Confederate states rights nut.

Paul’s a believer in allowing states and individuals to trample all over the rights of others, but is willing to let the Feds do the trampling if it’s in the name of “morality,” such as a federal ban on abortion.
