The real reason for school shootings is a culture steeped in violence.

Doors, video games, movies, abortion, anything but the one element present in every last school shooting in history.

I heard that one last week in conversation with a friend, though more gently stated. She said (paraphrasing) that we are only looking at the one thing, guns, and not the real cause and that is increasing violence. I submitted that both have the same source. NRA and right-wing media pounding hatred, fear, xenophobia, and guns are the solution to all problems.
