As you said already acknowledged, not all voters are political junkies like we are, not all of them see Trump as the sort of threat to the future of the republic that we do. Many are the sort of folks who could just as readily see Bernie as being an equal or greater threat to the country as Trump is.

That is why the Democratic establishment needs to enthusiastically normalize the Sanders campaign, if he is the nominee. The polls show Democrats don’t like Trump; tell them to like the nominee.
