What about closing costs, etc. (appraisal, new survey, etc.).

Get an Estimated Closing Costs Statement (‘Good Faith Estimate’ HUD form) so you can see what it’s really costing you, even if they add it to the loan. This should enable you to really compare it’s value.

/although $373/month drop sounds sweeeeet!
