If you like hof-brau type fare, Tommy’s Joynt is awesome.

The aroma wafting out the door will make your mouth water. And don’t be turned off by the long lines, they move like lightning behind that counter.

Tommy’s Joynt is excellent. Oh, and for Chinese, Ton Kiang out on Geary is awesome. Regular food, also great dim sum on weekend mornings. Get there early. Izzy’s Steak House is good.
