Haven’t found the wingnut yet who doesn’t believe that American Jews blindly support Israel and thus should be Republicans because only the GOTP supports Israel. Nor have I found one who responds to the idea that American Jews might not support Israel or support the current operations without muttering about “self-hating Jews.”

OF COURSE I support Israel because I have family who lives there. That doesn’t mean they can do no wrong. What is happening in Gaza right now is horrible and heart breaking, I don’t want that to happen to my daughter and her family, which means I don’t want it to happen to anyone else’s family.

Now, what should Israel do to protect its own citizens from depredations by Hamas?
