I remember as a kid when churches proclaimed Jesus Loves You, but when the Religious Right got fired up thanks to money from Richard Mellon Scaife, The Bass and Hunt families from Texas and The Coors from Colorado the message changed first to “Jesus Hates Gays and Lesbians” and then more people got added to the KKKristian Shit List…

The entire point of the Good Samaritan was that “others” could be better followers of what it means to be a good person than those in the group claiming the status.
