re: #167 calochortus
I learned cursive, and then had to unlearn it when I took a surveying class. It was in the engineering department and apparently engineers print, by god. My handwriting now (45 years later) is a weird hash of sort of connected printed letters. Except my signature. That is cursive.
Basically the same. I’ve been using keyboards since I learned to type in 1980. I’ve utterly forgotten how to write cursive, outside of my signature. If I have to write by hand, it’s block lettering, and even that’s falling apart now.
If I could get out of writing checks completely, I’d never hand write anything again.
