I’m reading the details of the Parler hack/leak. It was a pretty unsophisticated operation, as far as hacks go; they took advantage of the fact that Twilio, a commonly used third-party service provider, de-platformed them to work around Parler’s authentication, then effectively set up a botnet to download all of the data in a distributed fashion.

Most times, the Archive Team runs into DDOS protections when they capture sites, but not today.
