Eh, I am still awake because I am upset over having to quit my teaching job last night. I was working for a vocational kind of school here in Chicagoland where there is a “student” who has been accused at least twice of making highly inappropriate remarks to women, including one in my class. The school sees this as “hearsay” because the women involved are not inclined to step up and potentially have to confront this guy. Due to this and lack of evidence that the women involved were “afraid” , they are powerless to do anything. I told them that considering the warning signs, there is no way I will allow myself to have a further (and potentially more serious) incident on my conscience….so I walked out after school last night.
