Well, I can’t really call Manchin a hero for opposing a bill that would’ve devastated his state and that was toxic with voters; it was a no-brainer. Especially since the GOP made absolutely no effort whatsoever to win over Democrats. If he was stupid enough to vote for that, he might was well switch parties like his governor did.

Why not? “I can’t call a doctor a hero for saving that boy’s life because it was his job.” If no-brainers always happened we wouldn’t have Trump.
