I doubt she’ll oblige the further Christian right. She’s found the sweet spot, and she’ll keep hitting right there for as long as the money comes in.

Yeah, stuff like waltzing into town whenever someone else is in the spotlight will probably always do well for her. Bachmann and Perry are somewhat more…hm, stable for the tea party, i.e. they don’t play that trickster/joker’s wild stuff.

The other thing brewing is this Bush loyalist faction like Rove et al vs the tea party. I feel like that whole hayseed contingent she and Bachman/Perry/etc appeals to is deeply resented by the Old Moneys (not that that’s anything new.) Who knows, she could be aiming high, but I think she will eventually be kept from going further, myself, at least this year. Too much of a risk.
