That’s exactly what he wants. He’s clearly versed in the GOP playbook — do/say something outrageous or stupid, act defiant at first, then hide for a few days and offer a half-assed “I’m sorry you were offended” non-apology.

What he’s done to this girl is ridiculous. She should be commended for her work, not thrown in jail because, god forbid, she gets tired from working so damn hard all the time.
