I had an Aircraft Commander who was like these guys back in the early 80’s. I asked him how a good Christian could fly a machine whose sole purpose was to kill millions of innocents. He had no answer, but these guys have always been around.

He ended up trading crewmen until he had what was referred to as “The Jesus Crew”. Cognitive disconnect!

Extremely dangerous to have an fundie echo chamber made up of people in charge of delivering enough ordinance to obliterate a small town.
