you arent the gatekeeper and you dont set policy
and no one cares what you think is “inappropriate”

it was his speech. his words.

he’s perfectly capable of speaking for himself (or running and hiding)

Quick, you’re being challenged on something that you said that probably wasn’t correct, what do you do? Do you:

A. Clarify your statement
B. Admit that you may have misinterpreted the thing
C. Make an appeal to authority in the worst possible way because you’re appealing to your own (perceived) authority
