And this is why the “narrow” approach is appropriate in this circumstances. The more you try to complicate things for a jury, the more likely they are to buy into the defense’s argument that the prosecution is throwing anything and everything at the wall in the hopes that something will stick. Too many folks fail to realize that there are numerous crimes within this one investigation, all of which are about to be compounded in open hearings for weeks to come.
