Tried to call the hospice…tried the nearest place to the area. Spoke to some of the nicest people on earth, who aren’t at liberty to just give out patient information to random people who say they’re daughters in law.

Fuck it. I’m going to explain to my husband what’s happened, and hope to God SIL calls us back. As far as I’m concerned, she’s alive until someone who can use a verb in a sentence tells me otherwise.
