Good to see the Republican controlled Louisiana State Legislature has nothing better to do than draft stupid resolutions complaining to Roger Goodell and the NFL that the penalty for Bountygate was too harsh.

Funny that they and other hardcore Saints apologists don’t cast a critical eye towards the people who broke the rules and tried to purposely injure opposing players and towards the coaching staff who either encouraged it or turned a blind eye towards it.

I’m glad Goodell dropped the hammer on those involved; Gregg Williams, who was our defensive coordinator with the Titans before he went to the Saints, then the Rams (where our former head coach, Jeff Fisher, now resides), was neck-deep in this shit, which is why he got the stiffest penalties. I have to wonder if he did this bounty shit with the Titans too, because you know this wasn’t a new idea.
