If Qatar supplied weapons to militias that took part in the attack on the US consulate in Benghazi, even after the attack, it is relevant. Because if any weapons were sent to groups that had attacked the consulate, then Qatar knowingly provided weapons to America’s enemies. If that is the case, then it would appear that Qatar is not reliable as an ally and perhaps should not be an ally of ours at all.
