re: #161 Dr Lizardo

Here’s how to liven things up.

The Madmen of Mandoras, a 1963 B-film better known to audiences under an alternative title, They Saved Hitler’s Brain!, an edited version with additional footage shot in 1969 and added to the original for TV broadcast.

Delightfully silly and a B-movie classic.

A boardgame company used to issue a small set of cardboard counters annually around Christmas. Corrected counters to fix errors in games issued that year, “vanity” counters for those who were willing to pay for them, joke-y counters like a can of Whup-ass or a Mulligan counter, and also sometimes counters to support a particular variant scenario for one of their boardgames.

One game they had was on the German invasion of Leros during WW2. There was a variant scenario released later, and a special counter in the set that year, for an Allied attack - to destroy Hitler’s Brain. (Which was what the special counter was.)
