re: #180 Birth Control Works

So, I started listening to Dark Money by Jane Mayer. It is definitely biased version of events —starting with the Koch brothers and expanding outwards.

Yet, if one thing in her account is true, it’s scary as fuck.

Control for the uber rich, anarchy for everyone else —is the basic premise.

A return to feudalism, basically. The modern über rich would do well to read up on some history; the medieval über rich had as much troubles with anarchy as the peasants did.

Case in point: depriving the underclasses of affordable health care can lead to outbreaks of contagious diseases, which don’t discriminate according to social class. Depriving the underclasses of a livable income leads to discontent and unrest, and guess who they will blame for their sorry lot?

See also, the French Revolution and the Russian Revolution. Did not go well for the über rich.
