pink, this is my take on your post,
carla bruni didn’t show up because it was boring to her and she had nothing to prove. how odd the british press is trying to create a competitive situation between her and wab,
there is no contest,
if carla had come, all eyes would have been on her.
wab would have been mostly ignored.
i;m betting that most regular brits find her, not a regal admirable person but rather an awkward sort of frightening entity, w/ no style at all.
there is no way this frump can be compared to jackie o either,
who would have given carla a little competition.
