I definitely don’t think it’s unfair for you to bring it up, most especially when you have direct personal experience which others (like me) lack. I just wish I could understand.
As for ‘live the life’— I’ve lived in Hispanic communities and I’ve dated a few Latinos, but none of that can make me part of the community for real—I’m not Latina.
I’m completely open to what you’re saying and to the idea that I was just oblivious, (I certainly can be at times) which is why I was asking. I can easily believe that I missed something. Thanks.
