I almost made a crew served camera joke. My 40D was a bit much to learn coming up from a D30 Canon. Lusting after a 7d for the advanced processing and video.

But gun ownership has a couple purposes, so I’d let hunters and those in need of self defense tools possess guns apart from legit state militia participation.

I agree on the multiplicity, that would simply give a service oriented outlet for some of the issues the nation faces and would be in addition to any other firearms that any individual legaly owns.

And one last bit, I don’t see these militia as either being paid or being liable for call up outside of the state they are levied in. That is the proper place for the fully military National Guard.
