I wasn’t talking about any specific sources, but obviously the analogy is to Breitbart and the right wing blogosphere and LGF. You’re trying very hard to prove that LGF ‘fell for’ a particular story. You have not yet backed up this argument with anything other than an argument of personal incredulity, of course, so you haven’t actually shown LGF ‘fell’ for anything. You also assumed everyone had the same perspective on the story which was wrong— oddly so.

The point of the 99% and 1%, obviously, is to show that saying “Both X and Y have fallen for stories” is a nonsensical argument. Everyone is going to get things wrong. What matters is how often they do.

Are you making any sort of contention that LGF gets things wrong as often as Breitbart does?
