Yea. Amazing how often team management makes the “big” signing of a QB, RB, skill player without fixing their offensive line issues and then expects things to turn around. You generally end up with broken skill players instead. Chicks might dig the long ball, but all quarterbacks are equal when they’re lying on their back after being sacked.

Minnesota currently has a similar problem in baseball with the Twins. We hired a new general manager (actually, the GM we had before the one we were replacing) and he made a number of personnel moves among the position players, but kept our starting pitching rotation. Except our starting pitching rotation was among the worst in the Major Leagues last year, and up until we started replacing them with Minor League callups, was THE worst in the Majors this year. Doesn’t take a genius to figure out exactly why that didn’t work out the way they wanted.
