I normally avoid discussing politics with anyone but my wife, kids and other family. The problem is that we are not in normal times any more and I’m out of fucks left to give. One advantage I have is that people respect my opinion in my line of business. I have a reputation for knowing my shit that my friends and customers have learned to depend on. In addition I am knowledgeable in several other fields and have helped friends and customers with other problems not related to my current line of work. IOW, I know my shit about shit and I think that’s one of the reasons I’m not getting much push back on what I am saying.

That and pissing off one of the few good computer techs in a small town probably isn’t a very good idea. ;)
