She’s lying, of course, but I’m sure none of her followers will actually read the section she’s talking about. Persecution based on one’s religion is one of the things that can qualify one for asylum (which is different from being a refugee), in which case the person would need to be able to prove their religion. That doesn’t mean that the government is required to take it into consideration. Gawd these people are disingenuous. And stupid.
