Probably. They were looking for a “win” after Roseanne so they would do the faux outrage dance at any naughty word thrown at Ivanka. I think most people are defending her, but the c word seems to carry a lot of weight in the U.S. as a vulgarity period. And then it carries sexist weight when it’s said by men towards a women.
I do think Bitch would have most people making the same basic arguments in this particular situation though.

In this particular case, I hope Bee’s final statement is along these lines: “I am sorry if anyone was offended by my use of this word. I should have realize people would use it to distract from the real issue, that Trump is evil, and his daughter refuses to do anything about issues that affect those she claims to care about, but I am angry and it got the better of me. Once again, I’m sorry if anyone was offended.”
