She’s incompetent and giving an incompetent explanation.

Never assume malice when stupidity will suffice.

And the reason why this woman is the one coming forward with the surprising result? Because she’s the fuck-up. We didn’t hear from anyone else because they didn’t fuck up.

As I see it there are four possible outcomes

A: The votes she found count and she keeps her job.
B: The votes she found count but she’s canned for screwing up on such a monumental scale.
C: The votes she’s found don’t count but she keeps her job.
D: The votes shes found don’t count and she’s fired.

Outcomes B through D are all reasonable acceptable to me.

Outcome A however will cause massive amounts of RAGE as nobody should be able to screw up on the national stage like this and get to keep their job.
