Too true. If we do get bad crazy GOP in power at the Federal level in 2016, the people to blame will not really be the stupid and mean elements of the GOP base. They can’t help what they are.

It will be the enablers that vote GOP despite its descent into madness who will be most blameworthy.

You know what’s sad is George Allen would look reasonable as the GOP nominee for governor here, George Allen but instead because the few GOP moderates are willing to stand up against the nutjobs, this state has a great shot of electing a man who wants to criminalize oral sex and his equally nutty running mate, a man who thinks Planned Parennhood is worse than the KKK.
