It’s CYA, hospital scared shitless of lawyers sniffing around, looking to make bank holding the hospital liable for her carelessness. And that’s what I strongly suspect is the case here, that she was careless, possibly as simple and innocent as unconsciously wiping her brow after coming contact with Duncan, as that’s been suggested as the reason for other Americans falling ill so far.
