Didn’t Warren tell a family anecdote about her great grandparents being Cherokee or something? A family legend if you will which given her roots in Oklahoma wouldn’t have shocked me if it was true though it’s come out that she had no close Cherokee ancestors.

She said she thought she MIGHT have some Native American ancestors. She DID NOT claim any scholarships or affirmative action positions set aside for Native Americans.
