My mother and brother have a dog like this. She loves my brother but she is so excited to see me. My brother said, “you could leave for 10 minutes and she’d be just as excited to see you when you come back.”

I have a cat and it’s always, “oh you’re here” whenever I come home. She just doesn’t care.
