Caviar is health food!

I remember a man, raised in the USSR, telling me how his mother used to tell the kids that when she was a young woman, during the Stalin years, she ate a can of caviar for breakfast every morning because it was all she could afford. The kids used to joke about it—poor mom, forced to survive on caviar!
