Question for the group: How does the fact that this time around the thuggish Trump supporter appears to be non-white and he assaulted a white protester change things in terms of the arguments made and the insults flung?

Is it that this one incident should or will act as a kind of racial deodorant for the Trump campaign, whitewashing their racist attacks on ethnic and religious minorities by providing a counter example of a minority supporter who assaulted a liberal white guy?
