I hate to say it but I am still wearing a double mask. It is not that I do not trust my co-workers: I just think that a virus that has mutated a few times is dangerous to everyone.

I’ve been going maskless, but I’m probably putting it back on in public. I was running the numbers on my county: we had a 10% infection rate on a population of just over 510,000. Case are not up dramatically, but they are going up.

We also took a long weekend in Boston two weeks ago, and my partner just heard that they’re putting the mask back on, along with LA.

What fucking kills me is we’re having to do this to keep alive the fuckheads who are refusing the vaccine but have no legitimate reason to do so. I don’t want to be responsible for anyone’s death, but it’s getting harder and harder for me to give a shit about this lovely cross section of America.
