Esther’s whining is classic - she only wants the US involved if were in charge. She wants the US to be the boss, and she wants to be the boss of the US.

Classic power-lust delusion.

That struck me too. She pretty much said that it would be better for us to be in charge regardless of whether we can achieve our goals while taking a support role. That’s about the dumbest thing I’ve heard out of her this week.
