Obama had a Muslim upbringing when he was a child….so what! I grew up in as the only non-catholic in a very catholic neighborhood. On Friday afternoons all the public school kids were carted off to the church on a bus for catechism classes, Little Big Steve included. My father pitched a bitch, being that not only were we Methodist but his father was a Methodist Bishop. So in second grade, I didn’t have to go, so while every other kid disappeared, I was left alone in class on Friday afternoons. It was totally cool because I just goofed although the reason I know that JFK was shot on a Friday is that the teacher ran in crying during the time I was alone in class.

I think that the religious upbringing of anyone under the age of 18 is irrelevant. It is what they chose to believe as an adult that counts.
