Yes, it is another form of the bone in the nose.

The picture that the right, who are supposed to be the defenders of American principles, like all men are created equal, is pushing is nothing more than pure evil hypocrisy.

In some sense, these are very conservative people, they are showing brutal images to make an entire portion of America 3/5 of a person again.

All of them who do this, Drudge, Rush, Beck, the harpy, Spencer and the rest of the twisted parts of the blogosphere, will sit there and claim no fault at all, no responsibility at all when this erupts in lynchings.

Inhofe and others will comment “well what did you expect…” Palin will be perky about “the tragedy…” and then go on to blame Obama somehow. And yet, it is like watching a car wreck in slow motion for me.

I have studied history greatly, and I have studied the rise of the real nazis extensively. It started by stoking fears of losing Germany completely and calling the government weak. Of course there were “sub-humans” at work to bring it all down. The first Nazis sounded like almost reasonable patriots, if you ignored the racism.

And then the seeds got sewn.. more and more.

We are watching a cancer fester in the heart of the Republic. These sorts of views only spread hatred and fear and they only ever end in violence.

Right now it is talk mostly. Talk talk talk… dangerous talk. Yet, give it time to make the crazies more bold as fewer people call them crazy and it becomes more acceptable to think that way and give in to base fears and hatreds as a major national party, that waves the flag, legitimatizes it.

The thing that gives me hope is that the economy is doing ok. If it does tank, given the national propaganda of the moment, we really will see an American fascist party.
