Being equal with another culture does not mean that your cultural identity is being ‘subdued’. Unless your cultural identity is centered around being superior to other cultures.

Nor does ‘culture’ mean ‘system of laws and governance’. A legal system is a system, not something that changes with each demographic shift experienced by a country.
