Who killed the girl in Barton Fink? John Tuturo or John Goodman? I could never figure it out.

Its been awhile since I saw it, but I always thought Goodman’s character was bit of the devil if you know what I mean. And, in a way a manifestation of the hell Tuturo was going through writing “wrastlin’ stories” and not liking himself at all. Sure, he is called a murderer, but it is all happening to Barton’s “people” and Goodman always covers for him no matter what. Sort of a “deal with the devil” to get the script done, but a high price to pay.

Good art makes you think and has twists that appear real, but are they real or hallucination/dreams/nightmares?

Fight club has some of the same mojo that went over all whole hell of a lot of moviegoers heads as they complained about all the fighting violence.
