All kidding aside, I really do not see any major pressing reason for the KC Chiefs or the Golden State Warriors to change their names. Those words have means outside of references to Native Americans good or bad. Chief and Warrior are not even native terms. They are terms white people used for them and always have had other meanings as generic terms to describe someone who leads and someone who fights. Remove any mascots or symbolism that’s problematic, rename Arrowhead Stadium, and move on. KC could change the symbol to a locomotive or something and you could put a Klingon on the damn GSW logo.

Altanta Braves on the other hand, harder to argue this.
