I believe what we’re seeing here is the “Same Old Same Old” politics being confronted with the fact that they are actually being watched and investigated by “the people”. By that I mean individuals who are capable of smelling rats and, via modern technology, are able to hunt them. It’s getting much harder to hide the money trail and the communication records.

Two questions: 1. Are we heading into an age of Honest Politicians? 2. Can our Republic possibly survive such an age?
