This is the “Golden Age” that wingnuts wish they could return to, before all them “job-killing regulations” started coming into effect. Rivers slick with an oil-sheen, the air so thick with cancerous fumes that you can’t see sunlight, children playing as arsenic and lead rains down upon them, and garbage piled high enough that you can’t see the horizon past it. When you hear Boomers talk about how “great” things were when they were growing up, this is the reality that they refuse to talk about.

All boomers? I don’t think so. That is a mighty big generalization.
